El diseño de Dios nunca fue el de un padre soltero o una madre soltera criando a sus hijos. Dios creo el matrimonio entre un hombre y una mujer. Dios creó a la familia y cuando la creó al hombre y a la mujer, los creo para complementarse (Génesis2:18-20). Ambos son necesarios e importantes para la salud y bienestar de la familia. La evidencia empírica muestra que en la ausencia del padre (y de la madre), la familia sufre. Algunas consecuencias son: violencia juvenil, violencia doméstica contra la mujer, abuso de niños, pobreza e inseguridad económica.

God’s design was never for a single parent or a single mother to raise their children . God created marriage between a man and a woman. When God created man and woman it was to complement each other (Genesis 2:18-20) . Both are necessary and important for the health and welfare of the family. Empirical evidence shows that in the absence of the father (and mother) the family suffers . Some consequences are: youth violence , domestic violence against women , child abuse , poverty and economic insecurity .
