Here is a short review of The Cross and the Switchblade by my eleven year old daughter. This is the young readers version. This is the story of David Wilkerson sharing the Gospel to gangs in New York City in 1958. God used him greatly and many came to Christ through his evangelistic efforts. A movie was made of his experience in 1968. He founded several organizations that not only reach the poor and marginalized but reach teens who are trapped and addicted to drugs. One of them was Nicky Cruz who went on to become an evangelist himself. The format is not the best (a picture) but I wanted to make available her thoughts as an eleven year old.
